Privacy Policy

1. What we collect and why

• Your phone number and password (stored only as a hash, never readable): to create and protect your account and let you log in. Your name, if you give it, to address you.
• Your email, if you give it (optional): to send you notifications and a new password if you forget yours.
• Your language, the jobs you saved and your progress in guides: to make the app work the way you left it.
• Payment records (amount, date, status, the Mobile Money number that paid and Fapshi’s reference): to give you access, show your history and solve problems. We never see or store your Mobile Money PIN.
• CV orders (what you tell us and the files you upload) and scam-check requests (text and screenshots): only to do the work you asked for.
• A scrambled (hashed) form of your network address: only to stop abuse such as repeated login attempts. We cannot read the address from it.
• Messages you send in our support chat, and the name and phone number a visitor gives there: to answer you. They are deleted after 180 days without activity.

2. What we do not do

We do not sell your information. We do not show advertising. We do not share your data with employers: you contact employers yourself.

3. Who helps us

To run the service we use trusted providers who process data for us: our hosting and database providers, file storage for uploaded documents, Fapshi for payments and Resend for emails. They may store data outside Cameroon. We give them only what they need.

4. How long we keep it

• Files you upload for a CV order: deleted automatically 90 days after the order is completed.
• Screenshots sent for a scam check: deleted after 90 days.
• Payment records: kept as long as the law and our accounts require.
• Your account and its data: kept until you delete your account.

5. How we protect it

Connections are encrypted. Passwords are stored hashed. Your uploaded documents are stored privately and are only opened through short-lived links. Only the staff who need to see something to do their job can access it, and their actions in the admin are logged.

6. Your rights

You can see and correct your information in your profile, and you can delete your account there. You can also ask us, through the Contact page, for a copy of your data, or for us to correct or erase it, or to stop using it for a purpose. We will answer as soon as we can. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the data protection authority in Cameroon.

7. Cookies

We use only the cookies the service needs: one to keep you logged in and one to remember that you are logged in so the menu is right. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Changes

If we change how we use your information we will update this page and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
