Terms of Use

1. What Work à Mbeng is

Work à Mbeng helps Cameroonians find verified job offers abroad. We publish job listings and guides, offer document templates, write CVs and cover letters on request, and check suspicious offers.

Work à Mbeng is not a recruitment agency. We do not employ you, we do not place you in a job, and we charge no placement fees. We never ask you to pay an employer, or us, to “secure” a job.

2. No guarantee of jobs or visas

We check the job offers we publish, but the employer alone decides whether to hire you, and the authorities of each country alone decide about visas and work permits. We do not guarantee that you will get a job, an interview, a visa or a work permit.

3. Your account

• You sign up with your phone number and a password. Give a number that is yours, and keep your password private.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us quickly if you think someone else is using it.
• You must give correct information. You must be at least 18 years old.
• You can delete your account at any time from your profile.

4. Subscriptions

• A subscription gives access to the full details of job offers (employer contact and how to apply) for the period you paid for: a week, a month or three months.
• It does not renew by itself. When it ends you keep your free access, and you can pay again whenever you want. Paying again before the end adds the new period to the time you have left.
• Prices are shown in FCFA before you pay. Payment is made with MTN Mobile Money or Orange Money through our payment provider, Fapshi. We never see or store your Mobile Money PIN.
• Your access starts when the payment is confirmed. If you paid and your access did not start, contact us with your payment reference and we will fix it.

5. CV writing service

• You choose a package, tell us about yourself and pay. Work starts when the payment is confirmed. We deliver Word and PDF files in the app by the date shown on your order.
• Your price includes the number of free revisions shown on the order page. Ask for changes from the order page after delivery.
• Give us true information. We write your documents from what you tell us and do not invent qualifications or experience.
• We may delete the files you upload 90 days after your order is completed.

6. Scam check

Our verdicts (Looks Legit, Suspicious or Scam) are our honest opinion, based on the information and screenshots you send and what we can find. They are not a guarantee. Never send money to get a job, and be careful with any offer, even one we called legit.

7. Refunds

Payments are generally not refundable once access has started or work on your order has begun. If something went wrong on our side (for example a double payment, or a service we did not deliver), contact us and we will make it right.

8. Fair use

• Do not copy our job listings, guides or templates to sell or publish them elsewhere, and do not share your paid access with other people.
• Do not try to break, overload or get around the security of the service.
• Do not send us false reports, illegal content or content that belongs to someone else.

9. Our responsibility

We work carefully, but we cannot promise the service will always be available or free of mistakes. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from a job offer, an employer, or a decision you made based on the service. Nothing here removes rights you have under the law.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms. When we make an important change we will tell you in the app. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Cameroon.
